Hot Spot Technology

I think this system was introduced to Cricket by Australian Channel 9, where First I saw this on The Ashes last December.
Well..... it shows the point where the ball hit the batsman or point where the ball touches. Heat being produced due to friction.. So these INFRA RED imaging systems catch small "heat" they find, to show it on ash colored, negative video. In the television replay (or in the decision review process ), which usually shows a white colored glittering spot where contact friction from the ball has elevated the local temperature.

But as spectators we have to understand and respect on-field umpire's decision making. He doesn't use this tech things for his decision.
